Ordering
Choosing the right fit
Please refer to the brand website size charts for accurate sizing. Rentals can be stretched due to wear and may fit slightly bigger than listed on the website, please get in contact if you are between sizes.
Maxi Dress and Skirt lengths are subject to change. We on occasion hem dresses/skirts no more than 2 inches to avoid damage or due to hem damage. Length of the maxi dresses and skirts might be shorter than listed due to hemming.
Most maxi dresses are designed for girls approx 170cms if you are shorter than this please get in contact for short girl friendly options.
Can I place an order after postal cut off?
We do not recommend placing orders after the postal cut off but can be placed at your own risk.
Weekend postal orders must be placed before 12noon on Wednesday. Orders placed after the cut off will be sent as soon as possible but their timely arrival is not guaranteed. No credits or refunds are provided for orders placed after the postal cut off in the event it does not arrive on time.
Selecting the Booking Period
Wednesday bookings require prior approval and are not guaranteed unless approved. If a Wednesday booking is placed without approval, we will be in contact to arrange a replacement if we are unable to provide the garment booked. Refunds or credits are not provided if booking is made without approval.
Typically rentals are booked for the weekend and arrive back Monday/Tuesday, Once laundered rentals are couriered out for the following week's bookings. Please get in contact with us either (Instagram, email or website chat) to discuss Wednesday events prior to booking.

(for postal orders only If the return date is a public holiday, adjust to the next working day)
Postal Returns must be scanned in by NZ post by 3pm on your return date. (do not leave package at NZ post without a scan)
Can I book multiple garments for my event and cancel all but one?
No refunds or credits will be given in this instance as per our Terms and Conditions. For event date changes or change of mind as to the garment please get in contact with us asap.
How do I change the event date or garment booked?
Get in contact with us via Instagram or Email to request a change to your booking. Do not make an additional bookings, your initial booking will not be refunded or credited as per our terms and conditions.
Couture Collection garments cannot be swapped.
Try Ons
Try ons are located in Titirangi (west Auckland)
The booking fee for Try ons can be used as credit for a booking made within 24 of after your appointment.
Each Standard slot is 30mins - please try to arrive on time as appointments are back-to-back.
You are able to share a try on with 1 of your friends or family (3 people max in our studio)
Bookings are not refundable.
Please note that we are not able to guarantee a particular dress will be available on the date of your try out.
Spaces are limited - see our booking page for availability.
Try-on spots get filled very quickly, Please follow us on Instagram @rentstylerotate to be alerted to new try on spots being added.
Please DO NOT Dm us or email us regarding try-on appointment availability, all available appointments are on the website, new spots book out within minutes of being added. Follow us on Instagram to be alerted!
Why does the dress I booked still show as available on my event date?
We stock more than one of our most popular dresses.
Why are Sunday, Monday & Tuesdays not able to be booked?
These days are blocked out due to turn-around times, please get in contact with us via email admin@stylerotate.co.nz to check if we are able to. accommodate your booking.
What is the discount for back-up rentals?
We do not currently offer back up rental pricing.
Should I pick an earlier date to make sure I receive my dress on time?
Pick the date of your event. We aim to get the dress to you 1 - 3 days before this. This tells us when you need the dress by, and we can keep you informed if there are any unavoidable delays.
We post rentals as soon as we have them ready in the week of your event.
Event date also determines the return date and when the dress is next bookable, please be aware weekday rentals (Monday - Thursday) are due back the next day.
Shipping & Returns
Easter Weekend Ordering
Postal orders for Easter weekend closes Tuesday 31/03/26 at 12noon.
Pick up orders for Mount Eden and Titirangi operating as per normal.
How does Courier Post work?
Express courier (including return label)
NZ wide Courier is including return is $17 (Rural Extra)
Rural addresses are an extra $7
Our high value and hard to source garments are sent Signature Required and No Authority to leave. Your courier driver will leave a card for you with instructions for pick up if you are not home to sign for it.
You are not permitted to redirect our packages under any circumstances, if you provided an incorrect address by mistake please get in contact with us asap. Do not redirect our packages.
We do not courier rentals to PO Boxes, Business addresses or Public buildings.
Please note all weekend orders must be placed before Wednesday 3pm.
We are not able to confirm Wednesday event date booking as there could be delays in return from the previous renter which will impact your rental making it to you by Wednesday.
For weekday orders please allow a minimum of 2 working days.
If you loose your return label or if you chose drop off but would now like to courier item back to us please get in contact for a return label.
Do not courier items without using a return label provided by us.

Pick up cut off for same week bookings
- Mount Eden: 6pm Wednesday, Email us prior to placing bookings after this day/time.
- Titirangi: Last minute pick ups available please email us prior to booking.
You will not be given refunds or credits for postal delays for bookings placed after the cut off. No exceptions are made to this policy.
Mount Eden pick up orders placed after the cut off will be moved to Titirangi. No refunds or credits are given for failure to pick up.
How do pickups work?
Titirangi Pick ups
Pick ups from Titirangi (West Auckland) are available to Auckland customers by selecting the option during checkout. These rentals can be picked up between 9am - 9pm after you receive a text to say your order is ready for pick up.
Mount Eden Pick ups
Pick ups from Mount Eden (Central Auckland) are available to Auckland customers by selecting the option during checkout. Pick ups in Mount Eden are available ONLY on Thursday between 5-7pm. Only for event dates Friday and Saturday. Mount Eden is NOT a pick up/drop off location option is your event date is Sunday -Thursday.
Please ensure you are able to pick up your rental from the location you have chosen in the designated time, failure to pick up a rental will result in your order being cancelled, no credit or refunds are given for cancelled bookings.
When will my dress be shipped?
All rentals for the week are sent out via overnight courier ASAP from Monday onwards as it becomes available from the previous renter in the week of your event date. Rentals that are immediately available will usually be couriered on the Monday. All others as soon as it is returned and laundered/dry cleaned.
Can I change my Pick up and Return Method?
All changes to delivery and return methods incur a $5 admin fee.
You are able to change your pick up location with 24 hours notice.
Mount Eden pick ups/ Drop offs are strictly limited.
Mount Eden pick ups are available 5-7pm and all Mount Eden returns must be in by 3pm on Sunday.
Any rental not returned to Mount Eden by 3pm Sunday must be returned to Titirangi before 6pm Sunday to avoid late fees and potential loss of income fees.
If you chose Pick up and would like to change delivery method to postal, we require a minimum of 3 days notice, this is not always possible due to buffer days required for postal bookings.
If you chose Drop off and would like to change to postal return this option is only available depending on the following booking.
I have lost my return bag, can I just courier it myself?
No, please do not use your own courier bag/label. Get in contact with us as soon as possible for a new return label to be emailed to you. There is an admin fee of $5.
You are liable for any replacement, loss of income fees or delay that NZ post causes if you use your own label.
Garment Care
I have accidentally stained or damaged my rental what do I do?
Get in contact with us via email admin@stylerotate.co.nz
Please do not try it resolve it yourself as this can cause further damage.
I need to use fashion tape so my dress fits right, is that okay?
No, fashion tape is strictly prohibited, you will be charged wilful damage fees for any resulting residue. If fabric is damaged to any minor extent you are subject to replacement as well as loss of income for any bookings that need to be canceled. You may use CLUTCH glue carefully which can be purchased from us or Chemist Warehouse.
Please note you are liable if any form of adhesive causes damage.
I can’t return my rental on the due date is it a big deal?
Yes it is, there is a $40 late fee per day as well as loss of income charges for any rental bookings that would be affected due to late returns.
