Contact and Important Updates
Please make sure you are following us on Instagram when booking a rental, Instagram direct messaging is used for important updates about your booking as well as for identity verification.
Rental Term
Wednesday bookings are not guaranteed. Typically rentals are booked for the weekend and arrive back Monday/Tuesday. Once laundered rentals are couriered out for the following week's bookings. Please get in contact with us either (Instagram, email or website chat) to discuss Wednesday events prior to booking. Please place weekend postal orders before 2pm on Wednesday, bookings made after this time require approval from us (via Instagram, website chat or email) to ensure we are able to accommodate the booking. If a booking is made without approval after the postal booking cut off it may be cancelled, no refund will be provided for these bookings. Please allow 2 workings days for weekday orders. All Postal rentals bookings are due back the next working day. All pick up/drop off orders are due back the next day (regardless of weekend/public holiday). Our packages are not permitted to be redirected, do not redirect our packages for any reason. If the wrong address was given to us at the time of booking please get in contact asap. Payment
Payment for the hire is to be made on this website and is to be made prior to the day of rental. Your hire is officially booked in once rental fee has been paid
Fit
Please note that refunds are not given for dresses not fitting, please check with the applicable brand for accurate sizing information or feel free to contact us regarding sizing prior to booking.Please refer to the brand website for accurate sizing information. Rentals can be stretched due to wear and may fit slightly bigger than listed on the website, please get in contact if you are between sizes. Please note all maxi dresses tend to be designed for those over 165cm. If you are under this height our maxi dresses are not recommended. Replacement costs will be charged for irreparable hem damage.As girls vary so much in height please note dress length may be different on you than on the models, if you would like some clarity on each individual dress length feel free to DM us on Instagram
Garment Quality
All garments are in good rental condition with no significant flaws. All my dresses are purchased new or as new condition where available brand new clothes are sent with tags still attached, other times the rentals have been previously worn and is no longer in brand new condition, they may have small stains or flaws that are not very noticeable when worn. Garments are thoroughly checked before being sent out and notes about any existing marks etc are added to the back of the instructions leaflet. If you notice any marks not already noted down please be in contact with us asap.
Returns
Postal returns must be handed in to a NZ Post counter and cannot be put in to NZpost boxes. WEEEKEND BOOKINGS: Items are to be returned before Monday 3pm. Be sure to inform us in advance if this isn't possible for you. WEEKDAY BOOKINGS: Items are to be returned the next working day before 3pm. Late fees will apply of $40 per late day when item is kept longer then hired period. If rental is returned late or improperly you will be liable for loss of income if the following rental is missed. Rentals that are sent in boxes must be returned in boxes. You will be charged $30 for return without the box for small box garments (Natalie Rolt silks etc) $60 for return without box for large boxes (Beaded dresses).
Drop off Returns to be done before 5pm on your return date. If you loose your return label or if you chose drop off but would now like to courier item back to us please get in contact for a return label. Do not courier items without using a return label provided by us - this can cause delays in us receiving the rental. If you lose your return bag and label please get in contact with us asap for a new label to be generated and sent to you, you MUST use an NZ post courier bag, print out the label sent to you and fix it to the front of the bag. Admin fee of $9.99 will apply. All drop off returns must be dropped off, if a drop off return can no longer be dropped off due to any reason, please contact us asap for a courier label to be generated and emailed to you. Return courier fee and an admin fee of $9.99 will apply for any labels emailed.
You will be billed late fees from the return date until the rental is in our possession. If late fees and or loss of income fees are not paid by the due date (7 days from when the invoice is sent) the debt will be sent to Baycorp. When a debt is moved to Baycorp collection fees will be added and you are liable for collection fees. The debt will then need to be cleared with Baycorp and can no longer be paid directly to Style Rotate.
Garment Care
Please note that fashion tape of any kind is strictly prohibited. Use of fashion tape on our garments will be considered willful damage. Replacement fees including loss of income will be charged for the use of fashion tape. Please do not let others wear/try on rented item as any damage or mishaps will be charged under the renter's name only. Hang your rental in a clean, dry space away from direct sunlight when it arrives to lessen wrinkles. Avoid glitter oil and body foundation while wearing this rental. Allow 2 days/2 showers after fake tan before wearing the rental. Do not alter rentals in any way Do not use safety pins on or any other kind of fastening on our rentals. Avoid wearing cross-body bags (especially those with chain straps) with your rental as they cause pulls/snags. If the dress is dragging on the floor, please lift it when walking/dancing. Take care when eating/drinking as some food/drink stains (particularly oil) are not removable. Take care when handling pets as paws can damage delicate fabric in a unfixable way. Ensure the rental is completely dry before returning. Do not wash rentals. It is expected that all garments are to be returned in the same condition that you received the garment.
Cleaning
Cleaning will be handled by Style Rotate please do not wash any of our garments before returning. If there are any stains please send a message informing us. Vast majority of stains will be able to be removed however if the stain is unremovable without professional help you will be liable for cleaning fees. If the stain is not able to be removed by my dry-cleaner, the dress/set may need to be replaced and you will be liable for replacement charges.
Damage
I work hard to rent dresses/sets that are in good rentable condition. If you notice any issues with your rental when you receive it please get in touch with me asap. I will try my best to assist you in resolving any issues. If a dress is damaged by you beyond repair and is no longer in rentable quality you are billed for full replacement regardless of any existing minor damage. Replacement costs may differ from RRP listed at the time the product was generated and will reflect the true cost of replacement at the time the damage occurs. If a garment cannot be replaced due to the item being out of stock, irreplaceable (vintage or discontinued) or made to order you will be billed for up to 6 bookings of lost rental income. If a rental (dress/set) is returned damaged or stained, the renter is expected to pay the applicable fees to fix damage to the item within 7 days (e.g. dry cleaning or tailoring).If a rental is returned damaged resulting in future bookings being cancelled, you are liable for loss of income charges which including rental charges for future bookings for the period of time the dress cannot be rented. If a garment incurs permanent damage but is still in rentable condition you will be charged a permanent damage fee, this will vary depending on the garment and is determined at our discretion. Minimum permanent damage fee is $40. This is added in addition to repair fees. Permanent damage includes but is not limited to shortening of hem, weakening of fabric, missing embellishments. The exact permanent damage fee is determined by the value of the dress (RRP/ availability of replacement/ future bookings etc) If we believe the item is no longer of rentable quality due to damage caused by you, you are liable to pay full RRP on top of rental price within 7 days of the return date. This includes when a rental dress/set requires replacement due to one of the components not being returned or damaged. e.g. neck scarf, clips, ties, buttons etc. If replacement fees are not paid by the due date the debt will be logged with BayCorp, once a debt is logged with BayCorp collections fees will be added to the debt, you are liable to collections fees and it can no longer be paid to Style Rotate and has to be paid directly to Baycorp.
Cancellation Policy
Please choose carefully as once a booking is made booking fees and Damage waiver charges are not refunded or credited. Rentals that do not fit are not eligible for refunds, please check with relevant brands or contact us regarding sizing prior to booking. Rentals can be swapped for the same event date, If the item you would like to swap to is higher in price than the original, the difference will need to be paid, if the item you would like to swap to is lower than the original item no refund/credit will be given. Swaps are availability dependent. Postal order swaps must be done at least 2 weeks prior to event date. There is a $39 admin fee for all swaps this is in addition to the rental price. Rentals are not transferrable to other customers. We do not offer store credit for any cancellations or changes. Please note that no exceptions are made to this policy out of fairness to all customers and my small business, I appreciate your understanding.
Un-fulfillable Orders
In the rare instances where we are not able to fulfil your order a replacement rental option or full refund including shipping fees will be provided. Refunds are processed via the Shopify payments system; this typically takes 3-5 days to clear. Refunds cannot be done in any other methods.
NZ Post Courier
All our packages are sent via the NZ Post overnight courier service. Postal orders are sent Monday onwards as they become available from the previous rental. Rentals will only be shipped to residential addresses. Rentals will not be delivered to business addresses, malls, public service buildings. Our high value and hard to source garments are sent Signature Required and No Authority to leave. Your courier driver will leave a card for you with instructions for pick up if you are not home to sign for it. If deliver is attempted and a card is left, item must be picked up within 24 hours from the location listed on the card, do not arrange re-delivery as this will delay the package. Delays resulting from failure to pick up will result in late fees and loss of income fees. You are not permitted to redirect our packages under any circumstances, if you provided an incorrect address by mistake please get in contact with us asap. Do not redirect our packages. Please ensure you tick the "Rural Delivery" option if your address is classified as Rural by NZ post. We have no control over your package once it has been scanned by NZ post. No refunds will be provided for postal delays. Please get in contact with us ASAP if the tracking shows delay so we can get in contact with our NZ post business manager asap to see if we are able to move things along quicker.
Pick up Auckland
Pick up is available in Auckland. Titirangi pick-ups are not time restricted, you are able to pick up any time after you receive an email to say it is ready for pick up. No refunds or credits are offered for failure to pick up at designated time and location. Do not book if you are not able to pick up at the stated time from the chosen location.
Information Sharing
By renting with Style Rotate Ltd you give consent to your information being shared with a collections agency where required. The renting community in New Zealand is a small one, us girls support each other and may share information relating to any incidents to keep ourselves and our interests safe.
Unpaid Fees
Unpaid fees including and not limited to Late fees, Replacement fees, Loss of income fees, Repair fees and cleaning fees will be sent to Baycorp 7 days after the due date. We reserve the right to decline service to all customers with unresolved issues from previous bookings. If a customer has outstanding debt future bookings will be cancelled and payment will be retained to cover unpaid debt. Once a debt has been sent to Baycorp it will have collection fees added and may impact your credit report in the future. Debt moved to Baycorp cannot be paid to Style Rotate and must be paid directly to Baycorp.
Identity Verification
Identity verification is an essential part of your rental booking. Please ensure the information provided is correct. We will send you a text message to confirm the mobile number, please reply to the text message within 4 hours, Please ensure you are following us on Instagram on your main account, Instagram is used as an added form of security if there is doubt about your identity and you are not able to sufficiently confirm your identity the order will be cancelled and no refund will be given as per our terms and conditions.
